William Clifford Bill Woehler, age 71, a resident of 180 Twelve Oaks Lane, died Sunday November 20, 2016, at his home.Born on January 3, 1945 in St. Louis, MO, he was the son of the late Clifford Arthur Woehler and Lauretta Pace Phillips.Bill was a Vietnam Veteran of the United States Navy serving on the USS Newman K. Perry, and was a retired house parent at the Masonic Home for Children in Oxford.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 3 pm at South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church by the Rev. Frank Sossamon.Burial with Military Honors will follow in Sunset Gardens.
He is survived by six daughters, Tammy Moneymaker of Hampton, VA, Lisa Orego of Honolulu, Hawaii, Denise Williams of Newport News, VA, Amy Juracich of Bellingham, WA, Kristin Zimmerman of Stem and Ashley Gilbert of Henderson; one sister, Karen Janolis of Franklinton; 19 grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.In addition to his immediate family, he is also survived by the many children he parented at Oxford Orphanage.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, David Bucky Little; and two brothers, Richard Lee Woehler and John Edward Danieley.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Wednesday from 1:30 until 3 pm at South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church.At other times they will be at the home of Jessie and Ann Weary at 3769 Old County Home Road.
