Danny Thomas Hughes

HENDERSON- Danny Thomas Hughes, 65, of L and S Lane, died Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at Maria Parham Health. Born March 19, 1957, he was the son of the late Lessie Strickland Hughes and Thomas Edward Hughes. He was retired from Waste Industries where he worked as a compact operator. The family will receive friends Monday, October 10, 2022 at J.M. White Funeral Home from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. He is survived by his wife, Denise Langley Hughes of the home; a daughter, Heather Nicole Hughes of Myrtle Beach; two sons, Kenneth Thomas Hughes of the home, and Daniel Thomas Hughes of Raleigh; two grandchildren, Thomas Ray Knight and Ayla Loralie Burke; and three brothers, Glenn Hughes and Van Hughes, both of Oxford, and Lee Hughes of Henderson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Earl Hughes.
