HENDERSON- Louise Choplin Parham, 92, of Nutbush Road, died February 21, 2024 at her home. Born September 27, 1931 in Warren County, she was the daughter of the late Elizabeth Abbott Choplin and Joseph Presley Choplin and the widow of Charles Russell Parham. She was the former owner and operator of The Home Decorator Shoppe. Louise was a member of Flat Rock United Methodist Church and the Mary V. White Sunday School Class at Flat Rock. Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 25, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Flat Rock United Methodist Church by Rev. Robin Walker. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Louise is survived by two daughters, Dianne B. Walker (Bob) and Robin Parham, both of Henderson; a son, Dr. Darrin Moore of Lumberton; a step-daughter, Sharon P. Reese of Henderson; a step-son, Keith Parham of Greensboro; 14 grandchildren, Chris Fisher (Scarlette), Adrian Fisher (Kathryn), Cory Smith (Brittney), Hayley Compton (Travis), Kara Reese (Stephen Carroll), Michael Reese (Brooke), Matthew Reese, Daniel Reese (Morgan), Graci Parham, Bradley Parham, Alexis Powell (Quentin), Sam Moore, Cory Moore and Stephanie Walker; and eleven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Cheryl Hanks; and her siblings, Sadie C. Mustian, Effie C. Wright, Melvin Choplin, Ollie Choplin, Mary Jo C. Coghill, Clemon Choplin, Pete Choplin and Duke Choplin. The family will receive friends following the service on Sunday in the fellowship hall of Flat Rock United Methodist Church. Serving as pallbearers will be Daniel Reese, Matthew Reese, Michael Reese, Bradley Parham, Joshua Fisher and Hunter Fisher.
